Cody's Fund for eye surgery
Our recent Giving Tuesday campaign helped defray the cost for Cody to see an ophthalmic specialist in Oakville. Cody is vision impaired and counts on his brother Gregory to guide him throughout the day. They are a couple of the sweetest, most loving felines you will ever meet. We think every cat deserves the opportunity to live their nine lives to the fullest. We are so happy for the opportunity to ensure Cody and Gregory do just that.
Cody's consultation identified the treatment he needs to ensure optimal quality of life. His right eye is beyond repair and requires enucleation which is the removal of the eye. His left eye requires a resection of corneal/conjunctival adhesions and reconstruction of conjunctiva in superior fornix.
